The Cary Imps will head out on the road to  take on  the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Cary focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 14 on Wednesday.
 Cary unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak. They suffered a  rough 74-52 loss at the hands of Panther Creek. While losing is never fun, Cary can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 230th, while Panther Creek is ranked 11th).
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Luci Augustson, who  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Nadia Snesarev, who  scored 11 points along with six  assists.
 Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons came tearing into  Friday's  game with 12 straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Leesville Road with  points to spare, taking the game  51-37.
 Cardinal Gibbons found their leader in underclassman  Charlotte Fusco, who  scored 19 points along with two  steals. Fusco is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's  played.  Kaylee Fitzsimmons was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Cary's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 15 of their last 16 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record  this season.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Cary  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 24.3  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Cardinal Gibbons struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 28.3  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
