The Calhoun Academy Cougars will challenge the Oak Hill Academy Raiders at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Oak Hill Academy is hoping to do what Delta Academy couldn't  on Monday: put an end to Calhoun Academy's winning streak, which now stands at 12 games. Calhoun Academy put the hurt on Delta Academy with a sharp  17-5 victory.
 The team  relied heavily on  Sarah Kate Collins, who  went 3-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Collyns Stegall, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Calhoun Academy  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts in 16 consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Oak Hill Academy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  two weeks ago. They blew past Winston Academy 14-4 on Monday.
  Kaelyn Pennington was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Oak Hill Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Kathryn Williams, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more,  Williams also racked up two  hits, the mostshe's  had since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Katelyn Lewis, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Calhoun Academy pushed their record up to 19-1 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  on the road. As for Oak Hill Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.
 Tuesday's   contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Calhoun Academy has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of 0. However, it's not like Oak Hill Academy struggles in that department as   they've  averaged 0. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
