Great Falls has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Lewisville Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Great Falls' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
Last Thursday, Great Falls humbled the Lions with a 90-30 victory. Given Great Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Lions are ranked 306th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Lewisville pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of McBee. That's two games in a row now that Lewisville has lost by exactly nine points.
Great Falls is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Lewisville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.
Great Falls couldn't quite finish off the Lions in their previous matchup back in January and fell 68-66. Can Great Falls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
