The Master's Academy Patriots lost against the Calvary Christian Academy Panthers two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Master's Academy's tough 46-24 defeat to the Panthers might stick with them for a while. Master's Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.
Master's Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Carissa Hennessey, who scored six points along with nine rebounds. Hennessey hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Guggeri, who scored six points along with two steals.
Master's Academy's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Master's Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
