Middle College had won four straight road games  and  Gabrielle Rudd did her part to make it five on Wednesday. The Middle College Bulldogs came out on top against the University Tigers by a score of  69-60  which was due in part to  Rudd, who  dropped  a double-double with 34  points and 15  boards. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in points.

 The team also got some help courtesy of  Kiya Mell, who  went 6-for-13  on her way to 14  points and four  steals. She has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 28 times she's  played.
Middle College has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points on average over those games. University's defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 22-5.
 Middle College didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  51-46  victory against Dresden on the 8th. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
