The Neshaminy Skins won against the Council Rock South Golden Hawks last Thursday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Neshaminy took down Council Rock South 59-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Neshaminy.
It was another big night for Nate Townsend, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Emeer Coombs was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Neshaminy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Council Rock South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
Neshaminy will head out on the road to square off against Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Council Rock South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Council Rock North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Council Rock North will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Council Rock South is ranked 146th).
