Even though the Mountain Pointe Pride scored an imposing 72 points on Saturday, the Combs Coyotes still came out on top. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Combs made off with a 73-72 victory over Mountain Pointe. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Combs.
It was another big night for Logan Tuckfield, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 34 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathon Byaus, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Combs has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Mountain Pointe, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
