Portage barely beat Fall River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates on Thursday. The Warriors have beaten the Pirates the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pirates has come to flipping the script.

Portage was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-21.

Christina Geltemeyer was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.
