Everything went their way against Olympic Heights as Dr. Joaquin Garcia made off with a 15-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the game before.
Ava Johnston was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kylie Zimmerman, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Dr. Joaquin Garcia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .517. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
While Boca Raton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 23-3 margin over Atlantic Christian on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on three straight.
Myah Miller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Miller was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Layla Daly was a standout: she scored five runs while going 2-for-4. Isabelle Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.
Boca Raton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

However, it's not like Boca Raton struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
