For the second straight game, Mt. Eden will face off against Tennyson. The Monarchs will head out to  challenge the Lancers  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
Mt. Eden headed into their last  matchup having not scored more than two  runs for three straight, but Tennyson let them put that streak behind them. The Monarchs put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp  11-1 win on Tuesday. Considering the Monarchs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

 Branden Vilayphanh made a big impact no matter where he played. He  tossed 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has become a key player for Mt.
