Spruce came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Samuell Spartans as they made off with an 18-2 victory. The Timberwolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Chris Quintero, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Scotty Hughes was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
