The Seneca Bobcats are taking a road trip to  take on the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Seneca is coming into the  match hot, having won their last six games dating back to last season.
 Seneca's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They took their  matchup on the road  with ease, bagging  a  40-0 win over Union City.
  Zach Moats had a dynamite game for Seneca, rushing for 194 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. With that strong performance,  Moats is now averaging an impressive 111  rushing yards per game.  Rylan Harwood was another key player, rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
 Seneca wouldn't let Union City keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Joe Brennan,  Anthony Scalise, and  NathaN TorraNce picked up one apiece. That's the most  rushing yards  Scalise has posted since  back in September of 2023.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Seneca was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 365  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 157  rushing yards in four consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Mercyhurst Prep's way against Northwestern on Saturday as Mercyhurst Prep made off with  a  28-7 victory.
 Seneca's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mercyhurst Prep, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Seneca took a serious blow against Mercyhurst Prep  in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, falling  56-6. That  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Seneca was down  38-6.
