 In other batting news,  Sydney Slezak and  Isa Shields did most of the damage at the plate:  Slezak  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while  Shields  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  stolen bases  Slezak has posted since back in April of 2024.  Dani Rauscher was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
 Prospect  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  contests.

Prospect's win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-2. As for Silver Creek, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-4.
 Looking ahead, Prospect will take on Piedmont Hills at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Silver Creek, they will square off against San Jose at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
