Softball Recap: Quitman Wins Going Away Against Marshall

Quitman won the last time they faced Marshall and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Bobcats 13-2. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Quitman and bumps their season record up to 10-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Marshall, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quitman will square off against Rison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
