The Franklin Sabers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They slipped by Oak Creek  40-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Franklin also won the last time the pair played  back in March.
 Franklin got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Aniya Boyland out in front who  scored 20 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rachael Jepsen, who  scored eight points along with five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Franklin has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Oak Creek, their loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 5-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will be home for the holidays to greet  Grafton at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Grafton's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last three games. Oak Creek will be home for the holidays to greet  New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Wisconsin (New Berlin Eisenhower is ranked 83rd, while Oak Creek is ranked 74th).
