Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Basic). They managed a 56-52 win over the Del Sol Dragons on Tuesday. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 59-51 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Basic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamilyah (Star) Williams, who posted 17 points and seven rebounds. Mia Frias was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Del Sol lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Morgan White, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Sabrina Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Basic's record now sits at 8-5. As for Del Sol, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4.

Basic has already played their next game, a 46-42 defeat against Moapa Valley on the 9th. As for Del Sol, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-20 win against Mojave on the 9th.
