After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinewood Prep, Cathedral Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats 78-48. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Cathedral Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Whitledge, who went 6 for 9 to rack up 13 points along with seven assists and four steals. Whitledge has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Daniel Tolbert was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 20 points.
Whitledge wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Cathedral Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.
