The Excel Christian Academy Eagles pushed their score all the way to 56 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Christian Home Educators at home by a decisive 70-56 margin. Excel Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Christian Home Educators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Christian Home Educators' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Koster, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Koster has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Snyder, who scored 22 points.
Excel Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Christian Home Educators, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Excel Christian Academy will take on Paris HomeSchool at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Home Educators, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m.
