After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hilton Head Island, Bridges Prep was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hampton County Hurricanes a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Bridges Prep, who have now won eight matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Bridges Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those six games. As for Hampton County, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Bridges Prep has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Beaufort Academy on the 10th. Hopefully Hampton County paid attention to the Buccaneers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
