La Joya suffered their biggest defeat since November 9, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Edinburg at home and fell 65-9. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points La Joya has scored all season.
Economedes has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for La Joya, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-24.
