The Union Local Jets posted their closest win since December 14, 2023 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Clairsville and snuck past 79-76. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Union Local.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Local to victory, but perhaps none more so than Easton Ditzler, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Moore, who scored 17 points along with five assists and three steals.
Union Local is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for St. Clairsville, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.
Union Local will take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckeye Trail knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully the Jets like a good challenge. As for St. Clairsville, they will head out on the road to challenge the Potters at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
