The Plumas Charter Warriors can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by Providence on the road to the tune of 61-27. The result was nothing new for Plumas Charter, who have now won four matches by 25 points or more so far this season.
Dalton Bentz was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Joseph, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Plumas Charter's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Providence, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Plumas Charter will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. After both having extra time off, Providence and Princeton will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
