North Central scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 84-63 to the Central Eagles. The loss leaves the Knights without a win on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tazhir Webber, who posted 22 points and six steals. Webber is becoming a predictor of Central's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Jordan Crowder was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 boards.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

North Central and York Prep will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Central will take on Anson in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Anson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.
