The Asheville T Trailblazers will head out on the road to face off against the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Asheville T, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-34 loss to Asheville Christian Academy. Asheville T has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Blue Ridge Early College, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They were dealt a 58-25 loss at the hands of Invest Collegiate Imagine on Tuesday.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was McKenzie Woods, who scored 9 points along with 15 rebounds. She scored a full 36% of Blue Ridge Early College's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Kenney, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 17 rebounds.
Asheville T's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blue Ridge Early College, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
