Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 53-9 defeat at the hands of T.L. Hanna on Friday. Fort Mill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-3.
Quinn Kelly threw for 70 yards on 11 of 29 attempts. Tanner Mays was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards.
Fort Mill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for T.L. Hanna, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Fort Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. T.L. Hanna will square off against Dutch Fork at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dutch Fork is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
