Thomas Heyward Academy has struggled against Patrick Henry Academy recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Patrick Henry Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Al-Tariq Johnson, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Forest Fairey, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Thomas Heyward Academy now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Patrick Henry Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Heyward Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bethesda Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th.
