The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop McDevitt is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Last Wednesday, Bishop McDevitt beat East Pennsboro 42-32. Given Bishop McDevitt's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while East Pennsboro is ranked 452nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Boiling Springs came up short against Susquehanna Township on Tuesday and fell 38-27.
Bishop McDevitt has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Everything went Bishop McDevitt's way against Boiling Springs in their previous meeting on January 3rd as Bishop McDevitt made off with a 57-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bishop McDevitt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
