South Callaway had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Fayette Falcons.

South Callaway pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Fayette, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Callaway will host Hermann at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.18 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fayette, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Prairie Home at 5:00 p.m.
