Stevenson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Waukegan Bulldogs by a score of 45-36. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Waukegan still got an impressive performance from Hadassah Brown, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and six steals. Brown has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Evelyn Petty, who put up nine points.

Stevenson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Waukegan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Stevenson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-43 defeat against Lyons on the 21st. Waukegan has also already played their next matchup, a 49-41 victory against Niles West on the 21st.
