Summer Creek entered their tilt with Kingwood on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 Summer Creek was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 19-25,  25-15.
 Talia Nelson paced Summer Creek's offense, picking up 19 kills. Nelson got some help from  Ivy Maxwell and her 34 assists. Finally,  Kyri Brown kept Summer Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Summer Creek's victory bumped their record up to 19-14. As for Kingwood, their loss dropped their record down to 13-25.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Summer Creek is set to  challenge  their familiar foe North Shore  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Kingwood will  face off against  rival Humble  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
