Basketball Game Preview: Schlagle Stallions vs. Highland Park Scots

Schlagle hasn't had much luck against Highland Park recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Schlagle Stallions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Highland Park Scots at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Schlagle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Wyandotte to the tune of 60-26 back in December of 2024. While the Stallions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Joseph Richardson had a dynamite game for Schlagle, putting up 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Those 17 points gave Richardson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie Bush, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Highland Park put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Topeka 81-42.

The victory made it two in a row for Schlagle and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Highland Park, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
