Independence's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Hough, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hough has also already played their next contest, a 34-0 victory against Mallard Creek on the 29th.
