The Winter Springs Bears pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 63-56 to Seminole. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Wednesday (55), Winter Springs still had to take the loss.
Terell James and Joey Brady certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. James scored 18 points, while Brady scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayel Polanco, who scored eight points.
Winter Springs' loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Seminole, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
Winter Springs and International Community will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. International Community is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Seminole, they will face off against Oviedo at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
