East Union is 0-7 against Manteca since April of 2022 but things could change  on Wednesday. The Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffaloes  at 6:00  p.m. East Union will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Monday, East Union got the win against Patterson  by a conclusive  3-0.
 East Union walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-10,  25-23.

 East Union relied on the efforts of   Keenan Yang, who  had 14  digs and six  assists, and   Gabriel Estabillo, who  had eight  kills and one  block. That's the most  assists  Yang has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile,  after a string of six wins, Manteca's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They lost  3-0 to Mountain House. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Buffaloes have suffered  since April 8, 2024.
 While Manteca had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18,  25-23.
 Manteca's  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 18-7. As for East Union, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Wednesday's  matchup:  East Union has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 5.8  aces per game. However, it's not like Manteca struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 5.6  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
