Football Recap: Devine Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Devine blew Natalia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Natalia got their revenge. The Warhorses / Arabians fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 27-24. That's two games in a row now that the Warhorses / Arabians have lost by exactly three points.

When it comes to explaining why Devine lost, don't look at ENOCH HALL. Despite the final result, he rushed for 261 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. HALL is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 105 every time he's taken the field this season. Another back making a difference was MARIO VICENTE, who rushed for 41 yards and two TDs.

Devine's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Natalia, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Devine will challenge Hondo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. After each having a week off, Natalia and Dilley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The match will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
