A Season-Best  Effort from  Mozes Morris Leads Lake Norman over Cox Mill
 Lake Norman was led to victory by  Mozes Morris, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Morris rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere:  he has now  rushed for 111 or more in the last three games he's  played.
 This season,  Morris  has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 96.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he had four  rushing touchdowns.

South Iredell Gets a Boost from Johnson in  38-17  Victory
 South Iredell found a leader in  Tyler Johnson as the  team took down A.L. Brown on Friday. Johnson turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 143 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 60 yards on only seven carries. South Iredell is undefeated when  Johnson posts three or  more  passing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
 Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a  home matchup against Lake Norman on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Johnson saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

Micah Bright Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Lake Norman
  Micah Bright continued his hot streak  on Friday by dropping his third-straight game  with  at least five  total tackles. He made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass in addition to snagging  two  interceptions.
 Cox Mill is  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. Bright and Cox Mill will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickory Ridge  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
