Harlan was led to victory by Alexa Romero and Karina Vasquez. Romero scored 14 points, while Vasquez scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Vasquez scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Emma Flores, who scored seven points.
Harlan now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Warren, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
Harlan will head out on the road to face off against Stevens at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Stevens is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Warren will be home for the holidays to greet Taft at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Taft will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 743rd, while Warren is ranked 328th).
