There's no place like home for Wellington, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Berthoud Spartans  6-4. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Carter Weedin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.
