The Aberdeen Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edgewood. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (60), Aberdeen still had to take the loss.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DARION PARRIS, who scored 24 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was JOMAR CAMACHO, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Aberdeen has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Edgewood, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
Aberdeen will head out on the road to take on Havre de Grace at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Havre de Grace will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Aberdeen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edgewood, they will take on Patterson Mill at TBD on Friday. Edgewood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three contests.
