There's no place like home for Mid-Carolina, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Chester Cyclones on Friday. Considering the Rebels have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mid-Carolina's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Chester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mid-Carolina is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chester will take on rival Eau Claire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
