Meanwhile, Falls Lake waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Red Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win.
Falls Lake walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.
Oxford Prep better keep an eye on Tess DeZurik. She was instrumental in Falls Lake's win, getting 11 assists and eight digs. What's more, DeZurik posted three kills, the most she's had over her last six matchups.
Falls Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 18 consecutive matches.
Falls Lake's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Oxford Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
