Grants won the last time they faced Moriarty and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates blew past the Pintos 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Grants and bumps their season record up to 15-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.5 runs over those games. As for Moriarty, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-11 record.

Grants didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 loss against Belen on the 29th. As for Moriarty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-17 win against Espanola Valley on the 30th.
