Evadale came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 51-38 victory over the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans.

Evadale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Warren Brewer led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Brewer has scored at least a third of Evadale's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Terrell, who posted 13 points.

Evadale is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

When Evadale and Coldspring-Oakhurst next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Evadale will try to stop Vidor's three-game winning streak when the meet at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evadale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.6 points per game this season. Similarly, Coldspring-Oakhurst will try to stop Madisonville's three-game winning streak when the meet at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
