The Central Dauphin Rams fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They claimed a resounding 49-20 victory over Central Dauphin East on the road. With Central Dauphin ahead 42-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Central Dauphin was led to victory by Key'Ron Plummer and Miles Copper. Plummer rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while Copper rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Kyle Mccullough was in the mix as well, providing Central Dauphin with two touchdowns.
Central Dauphin's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Joseph Bass and his two sacks.
Central Dauphin's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Central Dauphin East, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Central Dauphin will be playing at home against Harrisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisburg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Central Dauphin East, they will head out on the road to face off against Carlisle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Carlisle and four for Central Dauphin East.
