Johnson lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Janae Johnson, who scored 20 points along with two steals. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jayda Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Lee's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.
Lee will head out on the road to square off against Churchill at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Churchill is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Johnson, they will square off against Madison at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Madison is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
