 On Greenwood's side,  Micah Vessely was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.
 Mooresville's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Greenwood, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 12-14.
