The Cannon County Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They blew past Forrest 81-43 at home. The  win was familiar territory for Cannon County who now have five in a row.
 Forrest's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Tristan Goad, who  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds, and  Brayson McCown who  scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kelley Toombs, who  scored six points.
 Cannon County has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Forrest, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with that  loss, which was their 13th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Cannon County will  take on Grundy County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in Grundy County's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last six contests. As for Forrest, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Cascade at 7:30  p.m.
