Southwest Georgia Academy came tearing into Monday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Deerfield-Windsor Knights. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly three runs.

Southwest Georgia Academy's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Deerfield-Windsor, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Georgia Academy will take on Sherwood Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
