Volleyball Recap: College Park Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

College Park had won two straight games and Abby DiMatteo did her part to make it three on Friday. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Dripping Springs Tigers by a score of 2-0 with plenty of help from DiMatteo, who had 11 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Allie Jenkins, who had 16 assists and seven digs.

College Park's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Dripping Springs, they moved to 15-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

College Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Clear Springs on the 30th. As for Dripping Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Fulshear on the 30th.
