Oak Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blaine Stansberry, who threw for 353 yards and four TDs while completing 92.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 353 passing yards gave Stansberry a new career-high. Malik Howard was another key player, picking up 145 receiving yards and three scores.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Maryville and Bradley Central, and Maryville kept the tradition alive.
